Our Advanced Procedures Include:
- Bronchoscopy – insertion of a tube with a tiny camera to view images and perform procedures inside the airway and lungs
- Endobronchial ultrasound for more accurate lymph node biopsy
- Fluoroscopy – an imaging test to examine airway and lung function
- Navigation bronchoscopy – a bronchoscope used to access hard-to-reach areas of the lung
- Placement of fiducial markers for cancer treatment
- Pleural catheter placement for draining of fluid
- Transthoracic lung biopsy – an advanced procedure performed through an incision in the chest wall
- Tumor destruction using ablation techniques
