Pediatric Infectious Diseases

State-of-the-art Care for Pediatric Patients with Acute and Chronic Infectious Diseases

SLUCare's pediatric infectious disease experts treat many common infectious problems, as well as more unusual and serious illnesses. We offer outpatient and inpatient care for infants, children and adolescents with suspected infectious illnesses.

We treat infectious diseases that are difficult to diagnose and those that require hospitalization, such as bloodstream infections, meningitis and serious pneumonias. We also provide advice on special vaccinations and medications to parents whose children are planning to travel outside the United States.
