Autopsy Service

SLUCare Physician Group provides a comprehensive autopsy service, offering insight about diseases the patient suffered from and details about why the patient died. Autopsy plays a major role in confirming the validity, value and appropriateness of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as providing information to families about inheritable diseases, cancers, unexpected conditions and cause of death.

The service is staffed by board-certified, academic pathologists on the faculty of Saint Louis University. Autopsies are performed weekdays during normal business hours.
