SLUCare speech language pathologists are licensed, certified specialists who evaluate, diagnose and treat adults with speech, language, cognition, voice or swallowing difficulties. We collaborate with patients and their caregivers to develop a unique, individualized treatment plan. And together with other health care team members, we work to help patients achieve the highest level of function and to successfully participate in meaningful activities and interactions.
Seeing a speech language pathologist can be beneficial for many patients, especially those living with the effects of traumatic brain injury, stroke or CVA, cancer, or neurological diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Parkinson's disease. Our speech language pathologists incorporate the latest advances in care to help patients regain function or adapt to their condition.
As part of an academic medical practice, our speech language pathologists work alongside other SLUCare experts in fields like otolaryngology, neurology, pulmonology, allergy, gastroenterology and geriatric medicine. Our team offers collaborative care through the following SLUCare Clinics.
