SLUCare's Cochlear Implant Program team works closely with St. Louis-area oral-deaf schools and sees children and adults with cochlear, Baha bone-anchored hearing aids, and other implants. Implants are performed at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Baha implants are performed for conductive hearing loss and single-sided deafness. Microtia repair and external ear reconstruction is performed using osseointegrated implants and prosthetics.
All SLUCare audiologists are certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and use their expertise and patient care experience to provide excellent audiological services.
