Neurointerventional Services

SLUCare interventional neurologists use minimally invasive, image-guided techniques to treat many of the most complex and dangerous brain, neck and spine diseases. One of our primary objectives is to improve stroke care by approaching each patient as an individual with unique and specific needs.

As part of an academic medical practice, SLUCare's team of interventional neurologists participate in national trials to study new and evolving technology, and lead original research. (Watch video: Retrievable Stent for Stroke Therapy at SLU Hospital)  As professors at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, as well as practicing physicians, we help make up one of the premier training sites of interventional neurologists in the country.

Our presence at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, home to the MidAmerica Stroke Network  and the Center for Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery, allows us to take a unique multidisciplinary approach to your treatment.

We also see patients at the SLUCare Doctors Office Building and collaborate with the Souers Stroke Institute. Our office is staffed by the faculty and fellows of Saint Louis University's interventional neurology service. It is designed to provide quick diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular disease, and to address our patients' unique needs.
